Note: Some documents have been altered since their initial release
Copies of several documents in circulation have been altered. For example, the FBI ERT report on Jeffco's website is missing Rachel Scott's autopsy diagram plus 4 other pages. However, the FBI ERT report was included in the El Paso County's report on the investigation into Daniel Rohrbough's death and this report contains Scott's autopsy diagram.
There have also been 7 pages deleted from the 10k report distributed by Evan Long circa 2012. It's unknown who edited the files before giving them to Long for circulation, although his source for documents was Randy Brown.
All documents provided by www.researchcolumbine.com are the original documents obtained directly from the given agencies without additional redactions or deleted pages.

The Litigation Files
The Columbine Litigation Files
In 2017, the Jefferson County District Attorney restricted 85 boxes of mixed materials, including a Dictaphone machine, dubbed the "Litigation Files" until the year 2116.
A records staff member described these records as follows:
"These files are attorney research files, news coverage, background information and case files on the lawsuits brought against the county by the families. Their official record series title is ‘Closed Civil Action Files.” The super-long restriction period is due to attorney-client privileged documents."
