Al Berley

Al Berley was the Denver's Sky9 helicopter pilot and traffic reporter for KUSA 9news. KUSA-TV and NBC shared a news helicopter (KUSA and NBC are affiliates).

The day of the Columbine shooting, Berley was piloting Sky9 with KUSA-TV's backup helicopter traffic reporter Jason Luber on board. They were broadcasting traffic reports when they were informed of the shooting and flew over to capture and report on the incident.
